It leaves you with the feeling you've just listened to something really important and you want more. I honestly love the whole album, I think it's definitely the best thing I've listened to, form a British band that is not already huge, since I moved in UK. I'm sure I'll find something new every time I'll listen to it, but so far... I love the end of "Brown bread" with the piano, I think "eternal sadness for man" is a perfect title for this song that is almost onomatopoeic, and I'm mad for "glitter ghost" grotesque atmospheres...in "little bird" the voice is so wonderful, really moving. I love posthuman (Huxley's "brave new world" is the first book I read in English)and finally, the arrangements (especially all the brass!!) and the production are incredibly well done. thank you! Building humans crosses genres effortlessly - it builds on the solid foundations laid out in the debut masterpiece "Blue born earth boy" - then kicks down the door to a new era for the band. Stand out tracks for me are "Chinese Drag Queen", "PostHuman", Brown Bread" and the absolutely sublime "Little Bird" which sounds like it arrived on a fluffy cloud straight into my brain. I cannot praise this band highly enough. Not only are they extremely competant musicians (this personified anytime a band has to follow them at a gig) BUT, they are simply not afraid to be themselves. This album is a credit to their live performances and the more subtle moments within their reportoire. In a world swamped with benile-pathetic-carbon copy bands, I sit patiently waiting to be rewarded with something interesting. I have been rewarded. x Building Humans
